Efficient energy use has a direct impact
on the environment. Through the reduction of energy use, we will
require fewer hydroelectric dams and fossil fuel burning plants
to meet our energy needs. This,
in turn, will release less pollutants into the atmosphere and
reduce the impact on our ecosystem.
Reducing building system and process energy use is a feasible
option for most environmental managers. We recommend that environmental
programs integrate an energy use and management program. Please

Managers Association) Newsletter, which features an article by
Prism on this topic.
